The late Robert F. Kennedy Framed Calligraphy Quote by Sandy Diamond The piece measures 14" x 15” - Autographed by the author This illustrated calligraphy by the hand of late Port Townsend artist Sandy Diamond reflects the late Robert F. Kennedy’s impassioned care for those who are excluded from the American dream. It is the final paragraph from his speech delivered DECEMBER 14, 1967 in New York. He addresses the violent riots of the mid to late 60’s and what it is to be an outcast in America. The artist received her BFA from Columbia School of Painting & Sculpture in the mid 60’s. Increased physical limitations forced her to forego the large paintings of her youth, but she turned her love of the art of calligraphy and an eye toward inspiring quotes into decades of successful artwork.
